Living Arrows 20/52

I am always amazed by how easily I forget to see magic in the world around us and am eternally grateful that my two girls are around to remind me.

We took them out on their bikes after school and happened upon an old folly on the clifftop.

Something that is just there, that I would climb in and out of as a child, but means little more than that these days.

Yet for my two, just climbing into it filled them with wonder and once inside, they ran and danced and skipped around the weed-covered ruins, laughing and singing as they went.

While Bear considered, her sister jumped right in!

What wonderful pictures, I think as adults we don’t do enough jumping, climbing and exploring.
We really should follow our childrens lead.
