Word of the Week #5

Word of the Week #5

And so, here we are, at the end of January already!

This week, I have properly moved into my new office to begin my new role as Data Administrator full time.  I even got a new monitor, keyboard and mouse! Feel very spoilt!

On top of this, on Wednesday, I was asked if I would be interested in covering some lunch duties at the school which means staying on an extra hour after my usual finish time, but I get lunch from it and some extra pay so it’s worth doing. I started my new sideline yesterday and it went ok.

And then I got my new Hi Tec Haraka trainers that I won for successfully choosing a name for the Team Honk baton. They’re pretty cool to be honest and I wore them right away to go on the school run. I was actually a little bit disappointed that no-one noticed them as they’re pretty bright. I even ran a little bit in them (after all, Bear was in the Baby Jogger pushchair)! And that is something new for me!!

So, with all these changes in my life, the word this week had to be…

word of the week new
