Word of the Week #3
This week has been the first normal week of the year. It’s been busy and hectic and I am glad it’s almost over. Bunny and I are off to London tomorrow so I’m looking forward to that, and will be glad to close the door on this week.
It does feel as though all my efforts are for nothing at the moment. The Team Honk plans keep looking up and then looking down again just as quickly. Work has been slow and frustrating. The move to the data office still hasn’t happened even though it was originally mooted for over the Christmas break. While it doesn’t matter, it does feel a bit like being in limbo as I just want to make the move and get on with the new regime rather than waiting around for it. For now it is scheduled for Monday, so fingers’ crossed!
And the blogging hasn’t gone so well either with no afternoons in to catch up and late starts in the evening due to the bedtime routines not quite being back on track. So I have a backlog of posts to write and still can’t see when I’ll get to do them.
So this week’s word is slightly negative, but I’m hoping it’s just the mid-January slump and we’ll be back on top form by next week!
