Word of the Week #1

Word of the Week #1

When the lovely Jocelyn from The Reading Residence mentioned on Twitter this week that she was starting a new linky on a Friday called Word of the Week, I knew I would be joining in. It’s all about finding just one word to describe your week.

So here’s my first word:

word of the week

After all the crazy of Christmas, we had some time to just be a family – go where we wanted when we wanted and just breathe. Much as I love seeing all of my family and all of the festivities, I do also love the quiet time we get afterwards. We’ve hung out in our PJs for hours, met friends for coffees (and play time for the children) and gone for lots of lovely walks on the beach – in the sunshine and in the rain!

This week has definitely been all about relaxing and I feel completely refreshed for it.

See what others have been up to here:

Ahhh relaxing – I LIKE that word a lot. Hang on does that mean I can eat more mince pies with my feet up? can I? PLEASE?!

    • I know for a fact that there are lots of mince pies on the reduced shelves at the supermarkets at the moment, so really it would be rude not to help get rid of them really. Well, that’s what I keep telling myself anyway – you can never have too many!
