Frozen on the beach

World Book Day happened to be one of the best days of the week weatherwise, so after I picked Bunny up from school, we took the dog to the beach for a run around.
Bunny was still in her World Book Day outfit of Princess Elsa (or is it Queen as she was crowned in the film – is she the first Disney queen or does that honour go to Olaf?!). Despite it not being that warm, she refused a jacket or cardigan, wanting the full effect of her dress and cape to be seen by all. Personally, I thought she was mad, but then, when I saw her striding along the top of the sand worm, singing Let It Go at the top of her voice I realised how wrong I was!
She ran along in the shade, claiming that the cold didn’t bother her [anyway].
Then she climbed the slopes of the sand worm, pretending it was as steep and hazardous as the mountain in the film.
At the top, she spread out her arms and sang at the top of her voice.
She danced along, continuing to sing, her inhibitions cast aside as she let the sea breeze whip up her cape and through her hair.
Oh to be four and free of social constraints!

She looks so lovely in her princess outfit against the sea backdrop 🙂 #CountryKids.
Book day on the beach – idillic! I absolutely love the dress 🙂
Looking as fab as she does definitely gives her the right to sing at the top of her voice! What a great way to end the day with a trip to the beach. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Oh I love this! So great to see their imagination at work.
This made me smile 🙂 I bet she thought she had been plucked straight out of the movie #Countrykids
Aw, sounds like perfect fun for a little girl! I love seeing kids dress up 🙂
