Bandana Dribble Bibs (Review)
Since we had Bunny, the range of baby bibs has improved greatly and our favourites by far are the bandana style dribble bibs. We started with some we found at Sainsburys, then got some more from H&M but now the range is massive. Bear has a drawer full, with colours to match every outfit.
Once we started looking, we found that there were lots of online retailers selling these and our obsession began. To begin, we bought a selection from Tiny Eco which retail at just under £2 a bib. Most of them have a terry towelling backing to them which is great for soaking up the dribble from teething babies. Others have a fleece backing, again very absorbent and soft for those warm days when they’re just in a nappy! Here she is in one of them, having her first taste of ice cream (from the famous Morelli’s ice cream parlour in Broadstairs). As you can see, the style means that there’s no gaping at the neck and the point of the triangle is just long enough to catch some of the bigger drips! There are two poppers at the back which give room for adjustment if positioning over bulkier clothes.
Another favourite of ours, has to be Funky Giraffe bibs. Again, they have a great range, and price per bib gets cheaper the more you buy – as if an incentive is really needed to adorn your little one in these gorgeous bibs! They’re my go to for any new baby presents and are always well received. Here’s a gift pack I put together for a friend’s arrival in the summer. Aren’t the sock monkeys gorgeous?! A good friend of mine makes them and they are so soft, you have to feel them to believe it!
Of the bibs I’d love to try if I had another baby are Skibz – especially their new Doublez which have a different design on each side – who can resist a two for one bargain! Check them out – they’re fab!
