A visit from their 38 weeks pregnant auntie was a definite highlight of the day. Bunny decided that the baby would enjoy her Elsa bear’s Frozen song and it seemed baby agreed, kicking away when the musical bear was held against auntie’s tummy. The girls loved getting to feel the baby moving and it was one of those precious moments to treasure.
After her bath today, Bear decided that her floppy towel turban made her into a camel and danced around the bathroom making funny noises. Perhaps you had to be there, but it was very funny!
Some pre-breakfast play inspired by their elves – taking over from where they’d left off overnight!
Snuggles on the sofa while dinner cooks. And even the dog looked content to be a part of it!
Helping decorate the Christmas tree after Bunny had begged us to get it out the entire week!
Bunny went to a local pantomime with her Rainbows pack tonight. It was a very late night for her, but hanging out with her friends gave her the boost she needed to stay awake. They were so ridiculously excited going in, I wanted to join them!
Two Christmas fayres – one at the girls school which included face-painting, nail painting, tombolas, Christmas music and even a visit to the big man himself! Then home for a quiet film before Christmas biscuits at Nanna and Granpa’s and a wander along to the Broadstairs Christmas fayre and lights switch on. Mulled cider for the grown ups and a roundabout ride for the little ones ensured smiles all round!
